Remote Computer Support
Remote Computer Support (RCS) is a way for us to save you time, money and the frustration of bringing your system into the repair center for repairs. RCS is available from CFS Computer Systems, Inc. RCS allows us to connect to your computer and see exactly what you see on your desktop. Now you can show us the error message rather than writing it down or telling us from memory. RCS enables us to perform remotely a wide variety of tasks such as file clean up, email setup, spyware detection and basic system diagnostics over a secure high speed internet connection.
Almost 90% of computer problems can be fixed remotely. Our RCS is available from 8:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. EST Monday through Friday.
How it works:
You initiate the RCS session. CFS Computer Systems, Inc. can not connect to your system without you initiating the connection. You must grant us access to your system.
Once the session has been established we will take control of your mouse and screen. You can sit, watch, and learn as we perform the repairs to your system.
Once the repairs have been completed and the RCS session closed the remote control software is removed from your system. To initiate another session you will have to grant us access to your system again.
What you need:
High speed internet connection (DSL, Wireless, Cable etc.)
Mastercard or Visa Credit Card
A minimum charge of $27.50 will be placed on your credit card for the Remote Computer Support service. If the issues with your system is not resolvable remotely, you will receive a credit of $27.50 when your system is brought into CFS Computer Systems, Inc. for further repair.
To get started:
Have your credit card ready, we will need the card type, card number, expiration date, the name as it appears on the card, the billing address, and the security code from the back of the card.
